Seminars - Workshops - Activities

All our seminars support our mission “To enable TCM students and practitioners throughout the world to learn from TCM classical texts and to apply the knowledge in these texts to modern clinical situations - to treat today's diseases.” These seminars are on a professional and academic level. This enables you as participant to grow. There is a vast amount of knowledge just waiting to be discovered. Thanks to our collaboration with the Shandong University of TCM this information can now be presented to a European audience. These events are practice-oriented and geared towards solving real problems encountered in every day clinical situations. Furthermore, we package our knowledge in the form of courses (incl. presentation and lesson materials). These packages are delivered to TCM educational institutes. Planned seminars and courses

The following topics are planned for 2009 till 2012:

1. 60 Classical Acupuncture Formulas for Zang-Fu disorders.
   • Theory, practice and case studies.
   • This course is scheduled in 2010.
   • Duration: 4 days.
   • Prerequisite: Advanced Acupuncture Needling Techniques (more info here). During the course advanced needling techniques will be used. Please note that it is important that you have practiced these before participating on this course.
2. Advanced Acupuncture Formulas from the Shang Han Lun (herbal formulas translated to acupuncture formulas).
• Theory, patho-mechanisms, clinical practice and case studies.
• This course is scheduled in 2010.
• Duration: 4 days.
• Prerequisite: Acupuncturist.
3. Secret Cases from the Forbidden City - discussion and analysis of cases from the Qing dynasty Emperor Family.
4. Wang Tai Lin's (Qing dynasty) 30 methods for treating Liver syndromes (Zhi Gan San Shi Fa) of Liver Fire, Liver Qi and Liver Wind.
5. The Nineteen Pathogenic Mechanisms (Shi Jiu Bing Ji) - Su Wen Chapter 74 Zhi Zhen Yao Da Lun and its today's applications.
6. San Jiao - classical theory clarified with today's applications.
7. Qi Jing Bai Mai classical TCM theory and today's applications based on Nan Jing and Li Shizhen Qi Jing Ba Mai Kao.
8. Nei Jing classical acupuncture needling techniques.
9. The forgotten treasure - nourishing the fetus. Sun Simiao's monthly nourishing the fetus theory and application.
10. Dui Yao in classical formulas - theory and modern application (Jing Fang).
11. Introduction to the eight Da Lun of the Huang Di Nei Jing Su Wen.
12. Clarification of the difficult and confusing TCM basic theories by using the classics for TCM students and practitioners.
13. The Dosages is the Secret - dosage and herbal formula modification.
14. Nourish Life according to the four seasons ( Huang Di Nei Jing theory) for today's application.
15. Famous TCM Schools of Thought - the four big schools.
